GOOD NEWS COMES TO THOSE WHO WAIT!

Wanted to share this beautiful picture with you. But todays post is for GOOD NEWS!  Crystal has been chosen to sing a theme song for a Indie Video Game soon to be released.  She has also been chosen to voice one of the characters.  

We are soooo very proud of her here at the Crystal Dennis Music virtual offices and it only goes to

             show what we've been saying all along.  Crystal is an     undiscovered mega talent!

We know that she'll be heard by the right people soon.  Until then we have to look to our wonderful friends, family and fans for support while we see Crystal through what can only be described as a very frustrating process of building her career grassroots and DIY!

More news will come shortly.  Keep checking back!

We also have a picture to share with you from a video shoot we did yesterday. Right now she's been busy with her voice over script for the video game and rehearsing the theme song for the video game and doing the shoot for her new song.

Blind Celtic Music Singer, Crystal Dennis

Welcome to this blog that chronicles the struggles and triumphs of Crystal Dennis, an aspiring Celtic Style singer.

I will have live performance videos, auditions and we will follow her career as she develops in her singing profession.

Crystal doesn't have a magic genie. She has not been on a reality show, she hasn't been swept up by one of the multimillionaire media moguls who pours thousands upon thousands of dollars into her career to help put it on the fast track.

I admire Crystal because she is building her career grassroots and DIY.  I also must add that Crystal is blind and has been since she was 13 years old. She started losing her sight when she was 10 due to a degenerative eye disease Retinitus Pigmentosa and was completely blind by the age of 13. 

One of the saddest thoughts for me when I see Crystal's pictures is that she has never seen herself as the beautiful young woman she's become.

I tell her that she looks a lot like Sandra Bullock the American actress from the movie "The Net", but with longer hair.  She remembers that movie because she'd watch it a lot before she went blind.
